| When I went to school we were studying about 100% gold standard banking and, after many days, I’ve finally managed to understand the way people imagined it to function, I was proud of myself. Well what to do when there is this free banking issue popular now? I tend to seem stupid every time I talk about banking. Unfortunately, people that I’m hanging with really like these conversations. Which one do you support? 100% gold standard banking or this new, free banking? |

| If I’d have to choose I’d vote for standard banking, there are several reasons that I’d consider valuable. For example, with standard, gold banking, you have some assurance that this specific country has the amount it uses to trade with, while free banking would be really easy to manipulate with when it comes to forex trading. Also, this (free banking) is only a theory and we weren’t able to check it in practice if it works at all. |
