I have been planning to start a business and I expect to get a pretty good profit from it. However, I also have a really old debt and I would like to know can CCJ be issued without me knowing. If anyone could help that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Running any kind of business is never easy, and part of it is making a sound financial plan. CCJ is a county court judgment which orders you to pay a certain debt even if it is very old. There are many debts, many debtors, and not everything has a chance to be processed in due time. On the other hand, it seems like there are possibilities of making an agreement with the party you owe about the amount and payment schedule. However, in any case such orders can be issued without your knowledge, in which case you will simply get an information. Hope you find the info helpful.
