| I’m about to apply for a credit card and after reading a bit about the procedure something has occurred to me. Namely, I’m not on god terms with my parents – I’m not speaking with them to be more precise, and I don’t intend to change this decision of mine. I’m wondering at the moment whether I am responsible for my parents’ credit card debt. What do you think about that? |

| I don’t want to preach, criticize or take sides because I don’t know the situation, bur I have always believed that no matter what happens breaking contacts with your parents or brothers/sisters is not a good solution and that sooner or later everybody regrets having done that. That is what you should be thinking about and when it comes to this legal and business issues, then you shouldn’t be worried because the one who inherits the debtors’ estate, also inherits their debts. It is fair because, if you are not inheriting anything, then you have nothing to do with their debts. So, after you know this, you can proceed on fixing your relationship. Good luck! |
