| I have recently started working and I have started earning. On of the first things on my mind are pension contributions. However, I would like to know whether there is any kind of tax relief for it. If anyone knew the answer, that would be great. Thanks in advance for any suggestion. |

Whether your contribution to pension are tax relieved will be determined by your earnings. There are pension schemes you can take part in and have financial benefits. There is also a basic amount of contribution to which you can claim a relief. It is currently £3,600. In fact, if you do not have any relevant earnings, you can still participate in this scheme, but you will be limited to the basic amount. I suggest you see some more info about this schemes at http://www.macintyrehudson.co.uk/content/
padvisor_pensions/pension_contributions.html. Also, you may find going to http://www.dyerpartnership.com/pension.html very useful. |
