I’m not a native speaker of English and I’m still learning, so don’t mind the fact that I’m confused a bit. Namely, I know that road toll refers to a kind of fee paid for using a certain road, but I was very confused when I heard that there is something called ‘toll road bonds’. Does anyone know what this actually is? Thanks!

There is nothing to mind about because your question is related to the field of finance. It is something also known as toll revenue bond. As far as I understand, this is a fund in which the money from toll taxes which are paid by the people who use public roads. The bonds used for financing building and repairing road infrastructure such as roads, bridges or tunnels. There is a fund like that in every country and that toll money is not given for no particular reason or just to impose taxes on people who travel, but because those tolls have a very important role in providing safety on the road by constant maintaining the roads and their repairing.
