| I have been having an account in the same bank for over a year now. However, I am not too satisfied and I would like to change my bank. In other words, I would like to switch my account to another bank. However, I would like to know if there are any problems anyone experienced, or everything runs just smoothly. |

I can put it this way for you. Switching your account from one bank to the other is like walking in a deep snow. If you carry a lot of heavy things on your back, you will be much slower, than if you have no weight at all. The deep snow is actually a complete lack of any mechanism that will help you automatically switch. Also, if you have credit, mortgage, if you need to transfer across direct debit, you will simply need to have a lot of patience and will in order to succeed. Just because of that, there are agencies that help in that kind of thing. For example, go to http://www.alliance-leicester.co.uk/currentaccounts/
index.asp?pageprem-transfer to see more info about them, as they are one of the best agencies. |
