Anyone lost friends due to debt?

Last year I had to pay some rate for my car but due to expenses because my kid went to a summer camp I wasnt able to pay it of. So I went to my neighbor to borrow some money. He was happy to lend be some put we didnt specify when I should pay him back. Now he is not talking to me. Anyone lost friends due to debt?

| I understand him. You should have paid him back as soon as you could. He was friendly and helpful with you and maybe he is feeling exploited. I lost my friend for the same reason. I lend him some money 5 years ago. I had patience because I know his difficult situation. But this year he want on vacation. What is all that about? He should pay back first. |
