Anyone selling their stuff to clear debt?

| Im so much in debts that I dont have any idea how to handle this terrible and frightening situation. Im thinking of selling some stuff, but I dont think I could reach good price, even though I moved in last year and I bought completely new furniture. Anyone here who had to sell its stuff to clear debts? |

I sold not only the furniture but also everything that one home has to have, so that one person can live in it comfortably. What could I do, better to sell them myself than bank. But I must add that I found some quite valuable antiques which I sold on auction and exactly they helped me paying off the debts. So I would advise you to search carefully, maybe an old lost priceless painting by a famous author is hiding in the attic and you dont know about it. Or perhaps old jewelry, it could be pretty valuable depending on the material and the period of history it belongs to.
