| Hi. I have been wanting to renovate my property for quite some time now, and during all that time I have been telling myself that I would first save up, and then when I get together all the money needed, start with the work. Now I have had a quote done and I would need a staggering £15,000. I have now start considering borrowing funds from the bank. Do you think that is a smart thing to do? |

| Most people have taken out a personal loan from their banks at some point or another, and wanting to renovate their houses is one of the most common reasons for doing so. Whether your renovation is worth getting into debt for, and whether you want to be tied to the repayments, is your own personal decision. You certainly wouldn't be the first one though, and their is nothing wrong with it! |
