Buying Land and then building or buying a house?

Everyone is just talking about buying properties these days. The other day my boyfriend and I talked about this. And he mentioned another possiblity. We could first get a nice plot of land, on which we can then build a house. What do you think about that? Isn't that very complicated.

Hi. Yes, I do think this is extremely difficult. Personally I would never get involved with a big project like that. There are so many nice places around, why should you build? Unless you yourself are an architect or you have a lot of money... I would say, steer clear!
