Buying a place that is at risk of flooding?

| Hi everyone! I have been offered a nice property for a friendly price. I am really tempted to make an offer. The only slight problem is that I know that the place has a high flood risk. What are your thoughts? Should I buy it or not? What other factors should I take into account? Thanks for your comments, if any. |

| My comments are clear and simple. If you buy a place with a high flood risk, you are pretty stupid. It is not nice have your place flooded. Besides you will not find anyone who will insure that place! Should one mention anything else at all? I think I would not touch the thing with a barge pole! |
