Any investment carries with it a risk in part. That is why you need to make sure everything goes as you plan, and that you make a good plan. You always need to have a good strategy, and one of these is ensuring the value of your portfolio. Now, if you are making investments, you first need to know whether you have enough capacity and capability for something like that. Calculating your internal rate of return can really help in such a question. It can tell you whether further investments are viable and whether you should make any more. For a method of how to calculate, I suggest you go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
Internal_rate_of_return#Method. Best of luck. |
