I have a car, but it is not registered in my name. However, as I expect to drive it for some time, I would like to get it insured. Unfortunately, I am not sure whether I can insure my car at all in my situation. If anyone could help me at all, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Insurance is usually given to the people who have their car registered on their names. It seems to me that it is pretty common and there are insurance companies that will not give you policy. However, there are certain companies that are fine with that all the same, and that could give you a good insurance policy if the see you will be a regular driver. However, I suggest that you register it in your name if possible at all. I suggest you go to www.carinsurance.com for more info about different options. I hope the info I have given you could be of use to you. Best of luck.
