Can LLC owner be a consultant to another organization?

| Hello there everybody. My name is Joseph and I would appreciate if you could give me some information about consulting services. The thing is that a friend of mine asked me if I could provide him with some consulting. However, I am not sure of it because I have a company. Can LLC owner be a consultant to another organization? What do you think? |

| Hello to you too Joseph. I don’t see a reason why you wouldn’t be a consultant. If it is informal process for your friend, like a personal favor, then it shouldn’t be any problems. The fact that you are an LLC owner doesn’t make any difference. What is important is whether you have knowledge and experience needed to provide consulting services to him. But, if your friend is looking for structured consulting services, then it would be better for him to hire some professionals. Off course, it comes with a certain price.
