| Hi everybody! I am a British citizen living in Europe and I would like to open a US bank account. This is as I have a client there, for whom it would be much easier to pay money into a US account. And I figure if this is possible it is always a good thing to have Is it possible for a non-resident to get a US bank account? Thanks |

| Yes, it is possible. There are several banks doing this but they all do have a high minimum input into the account. Try chase.com or the bank of America. I believe you have to put in around $500 to open the account. I did this a couple of years ago so I am not sure what has changed in the meantime. |
