Dear everyone. Please give me a hand in solving this puzzle. My employer is paying me every month by way of electronic transfer into my bank account. I have just opened a new current account. Of course I have notified my employer of the new account, but I have since not received my salary even though they say it has been transferred. Could it be that the money is lost in transfer?

Yes, almost definitely. The thing that most likely happened is that your employer did not write the account number down properly. Or perhaps you are the one that made the mistake. As a result of that the salary has either been sent into someone else's account, or to an account that does not exist at all. Trace your steps!

That is why you always double check you account numbers before you transfer funds.
