Hi! I have a question for you all that I am hoping you can get me an answer to. I have some savings bonds, but the problem is that I am currently abroad and as such I will not have the possibility to cash in these savings bonds. Can my son perhaps do it for me?

Not without your explicit written request or permission, that is for sure. And even then then question as to whether he is really doing it because you are asking him, or whether he is trying to steal your money, would enter the minds of the people when he cashes the savings. The answer is, therefore, that I am not sure.
