Q: Hello, folks! Finally, we are financially stable and secured. At the moment we're thinking of putting our savings into a kind of an investment. My partner has certain ideas on how and where to spend, I mean invest, our money. However, I have never been good with money but now I'd like to make my own contribution in making a couple of suggestions on what to do with our finances. Does anyone have any ideas on short term investments for, let's say, 1 to 5 years? I don't think that a longer period suits us best! So,now you know it. I would really be grateful for your recommendation. Thanks in advance!

A: Hello, there! This is exactly what happened in our case but it was my husband who was trying to find the best investment place. Firstly, it would be great if could hire a financial advisor. We did so and I strongly believe that investing can be done properly if there's a professional involved. On the other hand, if you're not in a position to pay for the professional help, don't worry. Nowadays it's possible to find the help even on the internet. Right now, we're also thinking of the short-term investment and there is a couple of ideas I'd like to share with you. We are thinking of opening an online savings account which doesn't offer such a high percentage. Therefore, you couldn't earn very much. It's only 4,7% APY but the conditions are ok and it's safe. So, I would say that you find about it in a local bank about it. It's called a "hard-yeald" account or something similar, please check. Then there's the market account for which you would need a greater amount of money. Hope, you do fine!
