Can you Buy-to-rent but actually live there?

| Hi, there. My partner and I are are finishing our faculties and we got jobs in a prestigious comp[any. We are thinking of taking a buy-to-rent mortgage. Since we don't have anywhere to live, could we actually leave on that buy-to-rent property? What do you think? Thanks in advance. |

| Hello. Well, why don't you take a regular mortgage? I think you can't take buy-to-rent and live there. Who could allow that? I've read that buy-to-let mortgages have negative influences on the economy. And this became a trend. Some even say that this will leave to people becoming homeless. Imagine that!
