| I have been recently employed and I would like to open a bank account. I would like to get one where I would be having good benefits. Is that possible, or there are some special requirements I must fulfill. If anyone has any information for me, that would be great, since I am not too experienced in that sort of things. Thanks in advance. |

There are generally two types of bank accounts, basic and current accounts. Basic offers you a possibility of getting all the money you need and using it through a cash card. You can even set up a possibility of your bills being paid automatically through direct debit. Now, more benefits you get from a current account. You will not need any special requirements to fulfill, the only difference is in your needs. I suggest you go to http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/
