I have a job I have been doing for quite some time now. Recently I have found out I will be transfered to the same position in Europe. Now I would like to know if it is possible to get a free European bank account. I am really not too experienced, so if anyone could help me, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Generally there are no obstacles for you to open an account in any bank in any of the countries in Europe. You do not have to be a citizen of a country to open an account. There will possibly be some fixed yearly fee for the bank, but it is a meager sum, and is deduced from the money you have in the bank. It also seems to me it would be best if you opened an account with the same bank you have there, as it would be much easier to transfer your money from one to the other account if it is done in the same bank. I hope you find the information helpful.
