| Last month I got divorced from my wife after twenty years of marriage. I have decided to leave her the house and to move out. I want to buy a new house for me. It will not be easy to start all over again when you are fifty-two years old. This is why I would like to know if I can get mortgage since I am older than 50. Thank you. |

| I know how you are feeling. I am divorced too, only my marriage last ten years. Starting all over again can be very difficult, that is why I have to try to look at it from the bright side. Concerning your question, I think that you will not have any difficulties in getting your mortgage. I doubt that being older than fifty has some influence on it. Search the internet in order to find the bank that have the best conditions and enjoy in buying a new house. |
