Can you get a pay rise while on maternity leave?

| I have been working in a firm for five years. I am very satisfied. I get along perfectly with my boss, and we never had any kinds of problems. I am expecting baby, so now I am on maternity leave. My husband I shaving serious problems at his firm, and I am scared because very soon we will be needed money. I wonder if I can get a pay rise now. |

| Well, I have to say that all depends from your boss decision. It is really up to him to decide. But if you have a good relationship without problems then you must ask him. You should explain to him your current situation, and see what he will respond to you. I really doubt that he will turn you down. After all you have been working for five years there. |
