Can you get a temporary health insurance? Which one?

| Hi. For reasons that I best understand myself I think that I would greatly benefit from a temporary health insurance. I am a citizen of the United Kingdom but I am not living there, and I haven't been doing so for many years now. Now, however, I will be heading for London and I will remain there for two or three months. So if that kind of temporary health insurance exists at all, please recommend me where I can get it! |

| I know about several companies that do this temporary coverage. As far as I am aware the best of all of them is pondered, which you will find at http://www.pondered.org/temporary_health_insurance.html. But keep in mind that the purpose of these temp insurances is not the one you mention. Usually they are arranged as a temporary cover until the permanent one is set up. |
