Can you get back taxes paid on your savings?

| I have opened a saving account recently and the bank issued me a tax to pay. I have done that but since my income is going to be low I wont be in the situation to pay taxes anymore according to the bank. I am wondering can the bank get me back the taxes I have already paid. Thank you a lot in advance. |

| I am not a financial or banking expert but in my opinion the taxies that you have already paid can not be returned by the bank. Those taxes are counted on the basic of your previous income which I think was not low. Some banks are offering tax-free savings accounts for those who have low income and now since you are in that category you want be paying it. On the other hand if the taxes were for the income still low (the bank is deciding about this) and you have paid the taxes than there are probably some procedure that can be done in order to get your money back. Look at your contact and you will find section that is talking about those issues. You will probably find some information that will benefit your case. |
