When I first applied for current bank account, mortgage, my first credit/debit card, other promotional offers I just didnt know and I didnt have a chance to negotiate with my bank after first year passed, and introductory offers expired, when standard charging fees took its place, interest fees and common charges for balance transfers, as well as for purchases of any new product. I had a chance, I did negotiate, but the thing I didnt know is that there was a possibility to negotiate with bank about mortgage payments as well, not knowing I can, I didnt try to make my bank account better place for my money, savings and for interest fees. Is there really a possibility to negotiate with a bank for offers that are most important to you?

Today it is more than difficult time for homeowners. Statistic and public surveys are assuring new borrowers and future homeowners that prices of the property is falling down, but I couldnt quite notice that this is really happening. From 1997, to todays date, prices of the houses have increased up to 300, it looks incredible, but trust the fact that until 2000, three-bedroom house has been sold on the market for 30000, and now the same house, costs nearly 100,000. So I dont know how much proof you need. Today, there is a possibility to negotiate for lower rate or adjustment to pay off mortgage earlier, get a solicitor and perhaps you can make some changes within paying your rates, try to convince tax surveyor to lower the tax on your property etc.
