| Hey people, is it possible to open an account online these days? I would like to use it only for internet banking, so it makes sense to do the whole thing online. Is there a way of doing this, and which bank should I choose? Can I use this kind of account for all my needs? Thanks for your suggestions. |

| Yes, you can open an account online. There is an internet bank Smile, which is part of the co-operative bank. There you can apply for an account online, and after that everything else is online as well. This sounds just right for you! Of course there are also other internet banks around, as well as traditional banks. But with them I think you can only actually apply for the account online, you will need to go into the bank at some stage. |
