Can you open an overseas bank account in UK?

| I am curious to hear if you can open an overseas bank account in UK? I am planning on going to study law in UK staring from October this year. The thing is that I live in Australia and I am aware that maybe the best way for managing my money there in UK would be opening some overseas bank account there in UK. So is it possible? Thanks! |

| Sure it is possible despite the fact that getting an overseas bank account in UK is quite tough. Anyway I dont think you would be having any problem regarding the fact that you will be s student there in UK though you need to know that getting an overseas bank account in UK might take quite some time. I advice you better try opening an basic bank account for I think this sort of account would fit you the most since it offers you a chance to pout the money on as well as to take it out whatever time you want and you will also get the ATM card. And opening this sort of overseas bank account in UK is not providing you a chance to get any credit so you wont get no chequebook or credit card or some overdraft facility. |
