Hi. I currently hold a basic account with the co-operative bank. I have been looking into a Privilege account. The services are excellent and the rate is good too. The thing is that I have a bad credit history and I am not sure whether I will get the upgrade. What do you have to say about that? Do you think I will or won't get the account?

Certainly not. Such an account requires serious research on the bank's part. If you have a bad rating, they will not risk giving it to you. Although you could try and have a meeting with a financial advisor at your local branch. Explain them what you want and why, and show them you have been a good customer of theirs in the past. Who knows, you might just get lucky.

It seems to be difficult that they issue the credit card to you as you have a bad rating but try to conduct meetingnwith the branch manger as wella s collect information from other credit card holders and asked them about the rules and regulations but if you dont get then go for any other bank.
