| When I was in collage I was a little bit naïve. I let every bank officer to convince me into opening credit cards with them. I almost never used most of them except one and not to mention that they have been charging me for all of them. What do you think about Canceling Credit Cards? |

| That was a mistake that’s for sure. Every card goes to your record and canceling will not erase anything in order to look more attractive to bank officers. If you have a debt you should pay that off but if those lines are clear there is no reason to close it down. You benefit from long credit history in a way that the longer you are borrowing the more will be approved to you. You should talk to your lender to check out if you will be penalized for having to much available credit. On the other hand it is easier to track down fewer cards. |
