I need a piece of advice. What does it take to apply for the child tax credit? I am a single dad, needing some help. And one more thing, if I inherit some substantial amount of money, or some real estates how it goes with CGT? I’ll have to pay it, right?

For a child tax credit it goes like this. You have to be over 16 years of age, working over 16 hours a week, responsible for at least one child or young person. The money goes to only one parent who is manly responsible for a child. Concerning CGT, I don’t know it much about it. But surely you have to pay it, no doubt about it.
