| Hi there. Which pension is better, company or private, of course depends on the individual scheme. I dont know what the terms of your company pension are, and as there are a lot of different schemes around I cant really judge your situation. Personally Im in a civil service final salary scheme, which is one of the better schemes. But even in that case, if you have the extra money now, it might still be a good idea to put it into a private pension, as well as still having your company pension. After all you dont know how much you might need it when you are retired! |
