Hello! I'm using one bank's services for some time and I have trouble to understand how they are charging their fees. Every time I think that I will be cut for certain amount of money they charge me some additional costs. Couple of months ago I took a consolidation credit and at first it was charged as it should be. But after some time they started to charge me for something I didn't know they usually do. Can I ask for a refund of some amount of money? After all I'm very confused with bank charges and I would appreciate if you could tell me something more how this works.

Very large number of consumers is confused with bank charges. Millions of consumers are in dark when it comes to overdraft charges levied by their banks. Bank charges are always in the centre of attention in the media but many people's idea of how much they are being charged is horribly out of the mark. It is very important to check with your bank if you are borrowing money at a competitive rate. Customer's complaints about bank charges are very common thing nowadays. Of course, it is possible to ask for some refund of the money you've been charged. You certainly can, but you don't need to deduct all reasonable costs. You are able to ask for any lost interest to be refunded. Just in case, if you are positive that you are right, you should be prepared to go to court.
