Could Ebay be giving out our contact info?

| I’m considering starting a small business on Ebay, I thought about that for a long time and many of my friends think that it is a good idea. But I have one dilemma, it is about contact info on Ebay; I wonder what their policy on giving personal information is. If anyone has some experience, please let me know! |

| I think that eBay has quite good safety policy. They will never give away your personal information such as credit card number. You can make personal contact only through their email system and you can also obtain someone’s ID number. It is also possible to receive someone’s telephone number if they posted it, but not their home address, place of work and such information. But, be careful not to give away such information easily, there are people who are constantly trying to find your personal information; eBay is not responsible for other’s actions such as voluntarily sharing information. |
