| Good morning everybody. I am interested in building my own house and I am looking for financing options. What I would like to know is whether I can get a mortgage for that. Could project loans be considered as a type of mortgages? If you have any other advice regarding this, I’ll be happy to hear them. Thank you. |

| Hello hello. To tell you the truth, I don’t know much about this subject, but I think I’ll be able to help. Now, I think that many mortgage providers do offer loans designed for people who do not buy, but build their own homes. I also think that many of these loans can be insured by the FHA (if you ca qualify) which makes them much more attractive. So, I would suggest you to do a little research. Contact several mortgage providers and ask about the details. As you may probably know, terms can be quite different so it’s not an easy job to find a good mortgage loan. Anyway, I wish you all the best with that and hope that you’ll be able to build yourself a nice home. Take care! |
