I have recently been looking to start with investments. I have accumulated fair amount of assets and I have looking into the most efficient way to invest. I would like to know reasons why do traders have such a low respect for scalpers. Thanks in advance for your help. Any info will do and really mean a lot.

Any investment carries with it a risk in part. That is why you need to make sure everything goes as you plan, and that you make a good plan. When it comes to ensuring the value of your portfolio, you have to be aware what kind of portfolio you want to create. Day trading is especially risky, and you have to be very careful. Now, it seems to me that volume trading can be very useful if you choose your trading targets correctly. For that, you will need to take a look at various charts that would be based on volume. I suggest you go to http://daytrading.about.com/od/daytradingglossary/g/VolumeCharts.htm for more info.
