My friend and I spent every day in past two weeks visiting estate agents to find suitable house for him. It was a painful experience for both of us. Speaking too long without saying anything is a piece of art that some people possess and they are all estate agents! Maybe I'm overreacting, but Estate agents are very annoying, using a lot of tricks and providing a small piece of relevance information. I'm wondering if you had a similar experience with an annoying estate agent?

Buying and selling properties became an unpleasant activity these days. Some estate agents certainly do their job lame and more and more people are trying to avoid them any time they can. I've heard that some legal changes will apply recently, but there are some tricks that no law can forbid. When you want to sell a property an estate agent will make a valuation of it. It's never realistic, it's always above a price you expected. And then, after some time, when selling is not happening (wondering why) they will knock the amount down. They will never tell you the reason why a certain property is back on the market. He will make up some complicated answers to avoid to tell you that somebody who wanted to purchase it found out that he was offering too much money. When you finally decide to buy and start to negotiate, a mystery competition shows up offering a better price. All this in order to make you offer a better price, but you can never check if this one is the truth. Sometimes they are willing, for a proper satisfaction counted in pounds, to let you be the first to know if an interesting offer shows up in the market. They are using the situation, so don't do it. Watch out for estate agent's tricks!
