Do All stock options expire on a certain date?

| Hello, everybody! My name is Tam from New York. I would really appreciate if you could help me with the following issue. My friend has invested all her savings in the stock market. Believe me, I don’t agree with it but she is my friend and I want to support her. She has a dilemma and I need your help in order to help her. She can’t find out something about stock expiration. Like do the stock options expire on the same expiration date? I have looked in the magazines but I could not find the answer. Thanks |

| Hello, Tam! I know that you are concerned about your friend but maybe the situation is not so bad. However, I don’t think that it was wise to invest all her finances on the market. I for one thing certainly would not have done that. I guess that your friend would like to know for how long she will have the right to exercise the stock options. I have done some investment on my own in my days and I know that there are certain option strategies which are used only in cases when stock options expire on the same day. Hope this explains a few things and that now you can help your friend. Hope everything turns out fine… |
