Do I have any rights after my debt was sent to a collection agency?

| Hi, I have a serious problem and I could really use your help. The fact is that my debt was sent to collection agency. Can you tell me what are my options? Do I have any rights? Every advice or just comment on this matter will mean a lot to me. Thank you for making a comment. |

| I have never been in a situation similar yours. I had some debts but with the help of my family I have manage to pay them. All I can say to you is that you have to think about ways you can find money to pay your debts. You can also try to negotiate with the collection agency. That way you will know where do you stand on this matter. |
