Hi. I am a guy from Slovenia and I am hoping to move to Ireland very soon. I do have a few questions about everything though, and I thought I would see whether you could help me out. I will need to rent an apartment over there, and I already know that I have a budget for this. But will I need to pay tax on this rent?

No, don't worry, what you see is what you get in terms of taxes for the one paying rent. As for your landlord, him renting out his property is seen as a business by the Revenue, and he need to pay income tax on the rent received from you just like or any other income. I hope that this answers your question.
