| Hi. I am a guy from Slovenia and I am hoping to move to Ireland very soon. I do have a few questions about everything though, and I thought I would see whether you could help me out. I will need to rent an apartment over there, and I already know that I have a budget for this. But will I need to pay tax on this rent? |

| No, don't worry, what you see is what you get in terms of taxes for the one paying rent. As for your landlord, him renting out his property is seen as a business by the Revenue, and he need to pay income tax on the rent received from you just like or any other income. I hope that this answers your question. |
