I have recently wanted to buy a property in Spain. There was one I simply fell in love with and I would like to own it. However, since this is the first time I am buying something in a foreign country, I would like to know whether I need a solicitor to do that. Thanks in advance for any help.

Buying a property in another country is really not as difficult as it may seem to you. If you are certain what you want to buy, then you need to do several formal things. In any case, you will definitely need a solicitor. He will handle various business like land registration and organizing all the contracts for electricity, lights, and similar. For some more suggestions, and additional explanations, go to http://www.bestpriceproperties.com/buyersguide.asp. Best of luck.
