Do sellers have to leave feedback on Ebay?

| I bought an item on Ebay last week, it was very easy transaction and I am satisfied with how things came up. But something worries me; I didn’t receive any feedback from a seller. I am even thinking about writing him an email and asking him for a feedback but I’m not sure is this a good idea. Do sellers have to leave feedback on Ebay? |

| It is custom to give a feedback to another party but not obligatory. I once received a feedback after two weeks; customers sometimes wait a while before giving a feedback. I wouldn’t recommend sending him an email and asking him for a feedback, that might annoy him and he may even send you negative feedback. Don’t lose your sleep over it, it is not that important, you’ll accumulate enough feedbacks from other individuals. It is very simple, one can give you a feedback, but this is certainly not an obligation. |
