the ponytail got lopped off last night. I now officially have short hair.
I'm afraid to run today....cuz it's going to feel too weird.

My hair is still long in front so I gotta figure out how to pin it back. I can't believe I did this. On our group run last weekend I was just saying how I couldn't have short hair because I'm used to my tail bobbing up and down in back!!!!!!!

Tracy got hers chopped last night as well. Not as short as mine, but shorter than I've ever seen it. Not yet sure if I like it, but it will grow on me. Or, should I say, I wish it would grow on me because then I'd have more hair.

FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM never felt so good.

i'm growing it back now.

i'm betting you'll get used to it real quick and then the long front will be history as well.

well, my husband never notices my haircuts....thought I'd get a reaction. It was worth seeing his and the boys looks. My husband, "wow....I've never seen your hair that short! (married 13 years), One son, "mom, I really like it" the youngest....yet somehow the smartest, "mom, your hair like that makes you look younger." Mr. Green new pack of pokemon cards for him!!!!

EL--no way....I think the socks go with the look now....now I have to add orange highlights and I'll look like a biker chick!

How many inches did you cut off?

Doesn't it feel great on your head? I bet it will be a lot easier to do, too.

Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

From my completely and utterly and fully biased male opinion, chopping the hairs on top of yer head is never a good thing. 99% of males prefer longer hair on their SO's and the other 1% are liars. Problem is 99% of men are too scared to ever negatively comment on their SO's choice of hair/clothing/weight/age, etc. Very Happy

My wife cut her hair almost completely off a while back and after much whining on my part she's consented to grow it out to an "acceptable" length for me. Course imo it's about the minimum I'd like to ever see it and about the maximum that she wants it at. Sad

I guess the good thing is that it can always grow back given time.

So RL, does this mean you're going to wash, dry & style it for her every morning??? I would kick my hubby's ass, if I had one, if he dared tell me not to cut my hair when I'm the one that has to struggle with it long every day. Perhaps this is why I'm single again! Wink

Good for you, sue! Post a pic of the new do so we can all tell you how great it looks!!!!

I'm jealous!! I wish I looked good in short hair, I 'd have it in a hearbeat. No more 20 minute showers to wash all the shampoo/conditioner out, no more frizzy little flyaways.....{sigh}
