Hi there everyone! I would appreciate if you could tell me something about one special tax. The thing is that I am interested in Environment Affecting Tax. Can you tell me something more about it? Does industrialization of the country has impact on Environment Affecting Tax? Thank you for the posts.

Hello to you too. Here’s the thing. As you probably know, ecological issues are getting more and more important as we can already feel the consequences of global warming. As an attempt to curb these negative events, some developed countries have introduced that Environment Affecting Tax. According to the regulation, industries which are polluting environment have to pay taxes for their emissions of gases, industrial water and similar. So, oil industry, heavy metallurgy, chemical industry and similar are the biggest branches affected by this tax. Industrialization of the country means development of these (and other) industries, so this tax is more important and provides government with bigger revenues.
