I am planning to get a credit to satisfy some of my needs, but I have pretty low income. I wander how will that affect my credit ratings and how high will my allowed credit be? Does earnings to credit limit ratio differs from bank to bank, or they maybe have joined politics about that?

Of course it varies. That is the edge they are using in their marketing. But you have to keep in mind that nothing comes free. So higher ratio, higher interest you will be paying later. There is not much you can do about, and you could get into serious trouble if you don't watch your expenses and pay your obligations on time. Be very careful about your choices.
