Hi to you all. I would appreciate if someone could give me an advice about the credit cards. The thing is that I would like to get one, but I don’t know whether I’ll be able to get it because of my low credit score. Now my question would be: Does reducing credit limit helps? Will it improve my chances of getting a credit card? Thank you in advance for your posts.

Hi there! First of all, let me tell you that your low credit score does not mean that you won’t be able to get a credit card. Although an important factor, it is not the only one. When making such decision, credit card companies take some other data into account. They will check out your income for example and many other things. Reducing your credit limit won’t be of much use, I think. Credit card companies want you to spend more and pay your bills on time, but I don’t know if reducing credit limit will make you a more eligible customer. What you should do is to ask for a credit card without reducing the limit and then, if it doesn’t work out, negotiate about those details. I hope you will manage to get it without problems. Bye!
