How well are connected emotional intelligence and work performance, if there is any connection between then at all. I hope somebody can clarify this relation to me, because I am not all that able to say what the connection between those two is. Maybe I am stupid or something, but I really need some help here.

You are not stupid, but there is no way that you can know something if you didn’t read or learn about it first. Maybe we should start with emotional intelligence. This is not the kind of intelligence where you should show some knowledge or skill; this is the kind of intelligence where you can show that you have no problem of managing new situations at all. This is why I think that this is something that is very important for relationship among workers and if they are good then you can expect to have a higher work performance. It is as easy as this to tell you the truth.
