| I had a business about a year ago. It went well for some time, but then ended up in bankruptcy after a huge downfall. I have recovered since then and recently I was discharged. I would like to know what chances do I have of getting a credit again and if it is possible at all. Thanks in advance for any help. |

| Going into the bankruptcy is always very unfortunate event. It can be very stressful and it is important that one recovers from it as soon as possible. It is good you are now an ex-bankrupt. When it comes to credit rating, it is of course pretty low considering what happened. Your bankruptcy will stay with your credit history for 7 years. During that time, it will be difficult for you to get a credit or a loan, but it is still possible, especially if you have something valuable to place as a deposit, or a lot of money to make the lenders trust you. However, as banks may still turn you down, there are places which will accept you . For example, go to http://www.banksaidno.com/content/view/14/28. I think you will find the info there very useful. |
