My uncle got him self an endowment policy 10 years ago which he would like to surrender these days, but he is not so certain about that. If he doesnt do that, can he surrender it in any time later? Do any of you have experriences with these kinds of businesses and what would you recommend?

Yes, I have surrendered my endowment earlier than I supposed to, it happened last summer. Insurance company got me a sum of money that I deserved for holding it several years before. Your question entirely depends on terms that you accepted when you were making the deal, so you should check the contract in order to understand what should be the condition of your uncles credit if does or if he so not surrender his endowment after 10 years.
