| I have seen so many topics about bankruptcy on this and other forums lately that I am starting to wonder if we have all gone crazy! Thank God that bankruptcy exists, so that we get the chance to start with something remotely resembling a clean slate if we really have to. But do we really see bankruptcy as a serious financial decision, or as the easy way out these days? |

| I think that you are making an interesting and valid point there. Of course, unlike what some people think, bankruptcy is not the end of the world, and there is a life after bankruptcy. But it should without a doubt be seen as a very last resort. Bankruptcy does carry very long term consequences, and the bankruptcy period itself is one that is very difficult indeed. |
